On Valentine's Day of this year, he proposed, and our wedding will be on 14th August this year. I am so very happy, and I can honestly say that I would never have met him, had it not been for this site! I've not only found the 'man of my dreams' (proving the doubters wrong), but our children have also come together wonderfully as a family through the experience (and amusingly the children are just as excited as we are about the wedding).

So in late April I was pleased to see that this beautiful woman had winked at me, so without hesitation I winked back and we started to chat. After lunch we went for a walk in the woods and she suddenly took my hand. That single gesture touched me deeply because I'm a tactile person and had been starved of any affection for years. On our next date we had a meal in her local pub and I found that I could really talk to this girl and be open with her. From that day onwards our relationship has blossomed and we are now in love and are very much a couple. I realise that I have been lucky to click with someone so early on but some things are meant to be I guess. To think that I could be so lucky to meet such a beautiful loving girl on my first date after only being a member for one week did not even cross my mind when I signed up. But it just shows that internet dating can work and if you're open and honest about yourself you have nothing to fear. I would just like to thank match for making it possible for me to meet the love of my life because she is everything I could ever have hoped for. I would also like to thank my girlfriend for being the most loving affectionate warm and tender person I have ever met in my life.
