Meeting him was the best day of my life, we got on so well together! At the beginning of 2008 we moved in together and in five week's time we are getting married.

I met my fiancee through match.com in December 2006. He messaged me through the site and we emailed and messaged for a bout a week before going on our first date. He was the first person I met through match although i had been on other (unsuccessful) dates through other sites. He had had a few dates through the site; I was only the 2nd person to get past the first date and the only one to get past the 2nd date!We started spending more and more time together until he went to do his RAF officer training in August 2007 which took him away from Sheffield for the majority of the time until the end of November. That was our big test and after getting through that, we both knew this was serious!
He moved in with me (when he is not on base!) as he rents his flat out now.
He proposed on Christmas Day on our way to New York, after colluding with my dad (an airline pilot) to get us upgraded. I was presented with a glass of champagne, containing the ring, although it did take me a while to notice the ring!
We are getting married in April 2009 and are currently house hunting so that we can live together full time while he finishes his GP training.
